i was just looking through a friends blog, when i came across this picture. it's a recent photo?

but woah, now look at this picture, of my gorgeous granny, taken in the 50s. i just liked the resemblance.

plus, my granny's a babe.

just because.

she looks super happy.

oh yeah, i forgot.

i completely forgot about these photos, til just before when i was flicking through my camera.

i took them just after easter, we got home and decided to head to the beach about 4 o'clock.

the sunset created a beautiful light to fill the sky, but it was too bloody cold to get out of the car!

they're making me miss home a bit.

i wish i'd listen to myself. seriously, I must be one of the world's best procrastinators, well maybe not the world, but wow. It's getting terrible. Although, for once, at least I have made a start, a small start on my Uni work. I just really can't get motivated.

I don't know what it is, I just can't get it together and make a proper start. Perhaps it's something to do with not knowing if this Uni thing is what I want to do, my mind's a bit all over the place about that at the moment.

or hey, maybe it's just pure laziness, although I don't think it's that, because all morning I've been happily dabbling around taking photos, making a mess, cleaning it up, eating, dancing, singing, la de dah-ing ... and last night... i was doing the washing and baking! None of that sounds particularly lazy. Right now, I'd even prefer to be cleaning my room, or doing my ironing!

Hmm, I guess it could also be due to my lecturer's comment about the best marks he ever got, and the best work he's ever achieved have been done at the last minute!?

But anyway, I guess while I've been doing, nothing, I've found some little bits and pieces to share, and yeah, they're a little bit random, but that's me! it's just i often find lovely photos, and have no idea what to do with them, and i guess now this is the place!

busy busy! i've had a super busy weekend with my lovely lad, while he was here we decided to re-arrange the lounge room, as we'd been feeling it wasn't cosy enough!

i really want a house by the sea, with lovely wooden floorboards!

well, today, i've been sitting on my bed rotoscoping for six hours now, so i haven't really looked at much, but there's been plenty of lovely music playing. music is probably my biggest inspiration, so here's a few photos of some favourites.

i love these dolls, and my olympus trip. they look like such a happy and colourful little family, on that note, my lovely cousin is coming for tea tonight!

today was the first day this year i really felt cold, and all i wanted was to snuggle with a blanket and eat the last of mum's cupcakes.

but, i really can't wait for winter, the soft light and pretty colours, so i can take some lovely photos.

now we finally have internet at home, i actually want to make this something worth having a look at, so here, to a new beginning really!

so, as often as i can, each day hopefully, i'm going to post my favourite photo i've taken that day, and then, just for something else to look at, images of inspiration.

these inspirations will range of photos or illustrations i've come across on the net, photos from the past, often snagged out of family photo albums, or just things i've seen.

plus. there'll probably be a whole lot of other bits and bobs along the way.
