kingswood country

"When I was a kid, our family car was a 1974 Kingswood station wagon - vinyl bench seats, an AM radio with cassette deck, that by 1980 required tweezers to eject the cassette, and of course what every family car needs: front, rear and side ashtrays. Our car was dark brown both inside and out. If you ever spent any time in a Kingswood you will know that the temperatures could reach apocalyptic proportions; you had to peel yourself out of the car like a fried egg on any day the temperature reached 25 degrees..."

This would probably put a huuuge number of people off such a car, but it just increases my love for them, and increases my want for one, or any old holden! ...anyone?!
